    • TO THE MEMORY OF MRS. ANNE WHITTY.
      Here lie beneath this marble stone consign'd,
      Wife, mother, sister, Christian, all combin'd,
      Each station gently fill'd by God approv'd,
      She died lamented as she lived beloved.
      The shaft by which the fatal blow was given,
      No sting inflicting sent her soul to heaven.
      Died 22nd Feb. 1826.
